Sudanska glad devedesetih je svijetu podarila jednu od najslavnijih, najmoćnijih, ali i najtraumatičnijih fotografija ikada snimljenih. Ona prikazuje lešinara koji čeka da dijete umre kako bi ga pojeo. Fotografiju je snimio Pulitzerom nagrađeni Kevin Carter, koji je tri mjeseca kasnije zbog depresije počinio samoubistvo.
